Introducing eArray 5.0
Target the genes that matter to your research by building custom
microarrays with eArray, Agilent's free online design tool. eArray
lets you design gene expression, CGH or ChIP microarrays based upon
your own uploaded probe sequences or Agilent's extensive databases of
validated content, and then manufacture your own custom array in less
than 2 weeks.

The Tat system proofreads FeS protein substrates and directly
initiates the disposal of rejected molecules
Only fully folded proteins are thought to be transported by the Tat
translocation system. New results from Colin Robinson's group now show
that Tat's quality control mechanism does not stop at the rejection of
misfolded substrates, but also triggers their degradation in the
cytoplasm.

TANK-binding kinase 1-dependent innate immune response

Viral targeting of DEAD box protein 3 reveals its role in TBK1/IKK[epsilon]
-mediated IRF activation
Setting out from different angles, these two papers by the labs of
Superti-Furga, Decker and Bowie converge on the identification of
DDX3X as a novel player in the TBK1-dependent interferon response,
thus putting forward a novel function for a DEAD box helicase in
innate immunity.
