PYRUVATE KINASE: ENERGIZING TUMOR CELL GROWTH
A tumor-specific isoform of pyruvate kinase is regulated by binding
to phosphotyrosine-containing peptides, which balances energy
production and macromolecule anabolism to promote tumorigenesis.

Nav1.5
http://ealerts.nature.com/cgi-bin24/DM/y/ejhE0Xztnp0H2W0BqCD0Ez
Nav1.5 is the alpha-subunit of the gated pore of the cardiac
voltage-gated sodium channel. Nav1.5 mediates the rapid
depolarization phase of the cardiac action potential. In humans,
genetic variants of SCN5A, the gene encoding Nav1.5, were found to
be associated with several disorders of heart rhythm and function,
highlighting the crucial role of this channel in physiology and
disease.
