Focus on Quality Control
The EMBO Journal features a special "Focus on Quality Control". This
collection of eight review articles highlights different aspects of
cellular quality control and their potential relevance for human
diseases. Topics include mitochondrial and ER quality control, protein
folding and degradation as well as quality control in RNA and DNA
metabolism. The reviews will be printed in three subsequent regular
EMBO Journal issues starting with the second issue in January 2008
(27.2). In addition, our focus will be presented as online feature
comprising the review articles including downloadable figures for
teaching purposes and links to relevant research articles published
recently in The EMBO Journal and other Nature Publishing Group titles.
