SAN FRANCISCO (AP) - The top scientist at the state-funded California Institute for Regenerative Medicine CIRMÂ's has quit that role with the agency. CIRMÂ's Interim Chief Scientific Officer -- Dr. Arlene Chiu (CHOO) -- says she will return home to Los Angeles at the end of October.
