Multi-Lineage Progenitor Cell (MLPC) clonal cell lines are karyotypically normal, multipotent progenitor cells obtained from post-partum human umbilical cord blood, which have been expanded from a single cell. The MLPC has been analyzed for gene expression and has been shown to be a very early progenitor cell capable of extensive differentiation.
