FEBS Letters Virtual Special Issue

We encourage you to take a look at the FEBS Letters Virtual Special Issue on "Biology of Danger and Defence",  a collection of some of the best articles published in FEBS Letters in the field of immunology and beyond.

When an organism comes into contact with a noxious entity, it is normally capable of recognizing it as a potential source of danger. The danger stimulus is then translated into a network of signals, which ultimately switch on an ad hoc defence programme. Understanding the mechanisms underlying these pathways is a matter of utmost importance in biology and medicine. Many of the studies within this Special Issue focus on signalling pathways, shedding light onto the molecular mechanisms of danger and defence. We hope you will find this issue illuminating.
