NESCI will be holding a research day this Friday from 12-6pm,
commencing with lunch and concluding with a drinks reception. There
will be five speakers from Durham and Newcastle universities covering
topics such as limbal stem cells, skin stem cells and neural crest
stem cells, together with a poster session. The meeting will take
place in the Scotswood Suite at the Centre for Life in central

2. University of Bath Centre for Regenerative Medicine Open Meeting,

The University of Bath CRM will hold its next open meeting on the

cell fate mapping and switching, and the opening keynote speaker will

3. Imperial College Seminar on hESCs in Medical & Genetic Research,

Professor Nissim Benvenisty. Director of the Stem Cell Unit at the
Hebrew University of Jerusalem, will deliver a seminar on human
embryonic stem cells at the Roderic Hill Building, Imperial College

4. RegeNer8 Event on the Regulatory Framework for Regenerative

The N8 Centre for Translational Regenerative Medicine (RegeNer8) is
holding a one-day workshop titled The Regulatory Framework for
Regenerative Medicine: Challenges and Opportunities at the Hilton
Hotel in York on 25 April. The keynote speaker will be Christopher
Bravery (MHRA Senior Assessor) and other speakers include Alison
Wilson (CellData Services), Andrew Webster (ESRC Stem Cell
