The ABC is now using a new system for sending email newsletters. The latest
ABC Science Update was sent yesterday using the new system for the first
time.
We felt we should check that it arrived OK because some receiving email
systems and Internet Service Providers (ISPs) are very sensitive to new
sources of email. Even though our email was sent from the same email
address, your email system may not recognise what's known as the 'IP
address' (the numerical machine address that identifies the new system -
sorry to get technical).
If this happens, most of the time you will find the email in your 'bulk',
'junk' or 'spam' folder. Please look there and feel free to open it - it
doesn't mean that it's junk or spam, it's just a precaution. Once you open
the email, your system should recognise that you have approved the email and
the same shouldn't happen next week. Some mail systems allow you to mark the
email as 'safe' to ensure it comes to your in-box every time.

We welcome your feedback and if you are experiencing any difficulty and the
FAQ doesn't help, please click on 'Contact us' in the FAQ. We will endeavour
to help you as quickly as possible.
Best regards,
