Despite the ongoing debates on the use of stem cell, there is no doubt that its great
potentials will make beneficial impacts to the development of therapeutic treatments.
Dr Stephen Minger, the Director of Stem Cell Biology Laboratory at King's College in London,
has devoted his research in this controversial area of science, and his work has been
well recognised as he was amongst the first three groups in the UK to receive a license
to produce new human embryonic stem cell lines.
The seminar will highlight the controversial issues in human stem cells research and the
potentials of future treatments with stem cells technology.
